Type 1 Diabetes is an alienating, depressive, and down-right difficult disease. In order to combat that, I challenge you to become a happy diabetic, to change your mindset, to be POSITIVE.
In order to do that, change needs to physically happen. Here’s what I want us to do:
Post one picture each day for one week, showing what you are thankful for, happy for, grateful for, etc… related to your diabetic life. Find the little things that make you happy. It won’t always be easy, but each day will become easier as you’re more aware of your positive mindset.
Tag your photos with: #happydiabeticchallenge
Use any social media outlet that you’d like, I chose Instagram for my first challenge. Don’t worry if you can’t think of what you could possibly post each day, or if you miss a day. Stick with it as best as you can! Before you know it, you’ll be the most positive diabetic around!
